Graduate School of Nursing

Graduate School of Nursing

We aim to nurture advanced nursing professionals who contribute to the improvement of QOL (quality of life) and QODD(quality of dying and dying process) by cultivating high ethical standards that respect the dignity of each resident to the maximum extent possible.

Features of the Graduate School of Nursing

Classes in a format desinged for working professionals

In order to enable working people such as nurses and public health nurses who are currently working in the field of health and medical welfare to continue their work and receive graduate school education, we have introduced a system to offer classes and research guidance on weekday evenings (18:00-21:10) and Saturdays. In addition, a long-term enrollment system is available, making it easier for working people to attend classes.

Participatory classes

In the Master's Program, classes are based on participatory teaching and incorporate a variety of educational methods, such as group work, exercises, and fieldwork, in order to develop logical thinking and skills that are more in line with practice.

Fully equipped facilities

Simulation education uses the "Regional Medical and Welfare Training Center," an institution affiliated with the university. This facility consists of a "Medical Simulation Unit" with computer-controlled simulated patients (simulators) and a "Nursing and Care Training Unit" that reproduces the living rooms of home care users and bathing rooms of social welfare facilities, allowing students to experience the series of processes from hospital to home
